Olde Town Merchants Association was formed in the Fall of 2015 to improve local business in Historic Conyers. The organization, which is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, brings special events to Olde Town. During the summer, they organized the Farmers Market and Lunch on the Lawn. This winter they are presenting Winterfest.
On December 3rd and 4th, Winterfest will take place all around Olde Town Conyers. There will be shopping, food and fun for the entire family. The annual Olde Town Christmas Parade takes place on Saturday at 4 pm followed by the tree lighting at 6 pm. Children’s’ activities will include pictures with Santa and Santa’s Workshop.
The formation of the Olde Town Merchants Association is pivotal to the success of the historical area. Working with the City of Conyers and others such as CW Television that hosts The Originals, the main goals of the merchant association are to build awareness about the historical area and help merchants to thrive.
The association includes businesses in the Olde Town Conyers Historical District. Businesses consist of restaurants, retail shops, salons, interior decorators, professional photographers, web designers, financial professionals, etc. Members meet regularly to discuss matters of mutual interest and work to show potential visitors everything that Olde Town Conyers offers.
