Toastmaster Linda Hannah wins First Place in Table Topics Contest.

Two members of the Toast of Rockdale Toastmasters Club have been busy competing and winning awards on the area level. Linda Hannah, Distinguished Toastmaster, and Hope McLeod, who recently qualified as a Competent Communicator, represented Toast of Rockdale in a competition between various area Toastmasters clubs on Saturday, February 27th, at St. Simons Church in Conyers. Linda Hannah won first place in the Table Topics Contest and will go on to compete in the Division C Contest in April 2016. Hope McLeod placed second in the International Speech Contest.

Toast of Rockdale is a local club within Toastmasters International. Toastmasters International is a nonprofit educational organization through which members can learn communication and leadership via its worldwide network of clubs. Each week, Toastmasters helps more than 250,000 people from all backgrounds, professions and educational levels improve their confidence and competence in communication while also building their leadership skills.
